Artist Statement
By Tormius
“Working within Neoformism, I aim to continue evolving and shaping an ideal artistic style that represents me. Relying on composition, color, and form, I work in stages using digital tools, constantly changing the combination of elements that inspire the random and emotional sensations that define abstraction.”
Tormius is a prominent digital artist whose vision is grounded in three fundamental principles: geometry, composition, and color. His style is often called ‘Neoformism’, highlighting his interest in exploring the non-objective spheres of the human experience. Tormius draws inspiration from diverse artistic movements such as Formism, Cubism, Constructivism, and Elementarism. Among these, he is especially drawn to Formism, an avant-garde movement that emerged in Poland during the 1920s. Tormius seeks to develop his unique artistic approach by studying these artistic movements. He strongly emphasizes learning from the past while also looking to the future for new sources of inspiration.
“I am pleased to present Tormius, a digital artist with a distinct talent for composition, color, and form. His new collection — “23” — carries an exciting palette and striking combinations; each piece draws the viewer in, encouraging us to uncover our connection to the work.
As a young artist, Tormius shows great promise, and following his progress has been a privilege. With “23,” he invites the audience to discover the beauty of energetic forms and unique compositions, providing a glimpse into the vast potential of non-representational art. Join us in experiencing Tormius’ new collection and witness the evolving talents of this artist as he continues to explore the possibilities of his chosen medium.”
